Aim of the proposal is to identify and integrate, by technology transfer activities, products and services offered by MDM Cluster Sme’s in order to define and plan multimedia and bulding automation systems for public buildings, and in particular for school buildings.

Thanks to a testbed that the partners will use to realize the technology transfer activities, the following areas of competences will be focalized:
- Energy consumption monitoring and energy usage optimization: the adoption of innovative graphic interfaces will increase workers and scholars consciousness of the problem in order to stimoulate, among them, virtuous energy saving behaviours  
- Network infrastructures and software architectures to permit the controlled access to high-band web net and the exchange of educational multimedia contents
- Planning of educational multimedial systems using original interfaces able to stimulate scholars to collaborate with teachers
- Security systems for scholar buildings: vocal messages spreading system of alarm, videosurveillance, objects and people positioning systems
