The Alliance to create enterprises and develope Italy

VEGA - Venice Gateway for Science and Technology.
There are over 130.000 companies represented in the agreement signed in VEGA last May 27th.

This is an historical bergain, an Italian Ecosystem which will rise competitiveness and innovation in Italy to the highest levels.

The agreement, which could be spread to new members in the future, today collects the most prestigious organization in the Universitiy world of Research, Innovation and Venture Capital along with the company network: PNI CUBE which gathers 33 among universities and academic incubator; APSTI which gathers most of the Italian Science Parks (over 30); IBAN the association that collects the Business Angels; IAG the most numerous and active group of Business Angels; FICEI the representative Federation of Italian Industrial Consortium whose areas host about 50.000 enterprises; FDI the representative Federation for industrial and productive clusters in Italy which counts approximately 72.000 companies; VEGA and MDM Cluster with their own network of 3000 companies; RIVISTA INNOV’AZIONE the official press tool for the ecosystem of innovative Italian enterprises.
Other member might join the Network as the agreement is open for subscription during the first year.
The round table counted the participation of 16 prestigious speakers, among which the Economy Policy Councillor for Veneto, Vendemiano Sartor, University lecturer, all the chiefs from Associations, Boards and Consortiums. They discussed about the main functions and features of the big aggregating platform (Ombrello Portal) which will be networking and creating a system of constant interaction among Universities, Incubators, Science Parks, Research Centres and the entire system of Investors (Seeds, Angels, Ventures, Merchants, Private Equity, etc.) and companies.
